HCM City, on 27th March 2009 at 8:00 the Seventh Annual Shareholder Congress in 2008 of Fimexco has been held at the company office with 20 shareholders and mandated delegates representing 3.025.078 shares equivalently 89,5% of the total number of shares having the right to discuss and vote at the meeting.

The congress has approved the reports of the BOD and the financial report of the year 2008: After the twenty-year way of development, Fimexco Joint Stock Company has made many significant achievements, building up the brand and gaining much experience in the market. In the economic degradation in the year 2008, even many companies take the path to bankruptcy, but Fimexco has maintained and affirmed on the market and decided the dividend for the year 2008 is 12%.

The BOD of the Company has proposed the direction and plans for the development in the year 2009 with the policies of promoting the business trading of cars, motorcycles, electrical appliances as well as enhancing & reinforcing the development of the home-reparing services such as automobiles, motorcycles, electro-refrigeration, informatics services… to get stable profit for the living of all the company staff, tax implementing for the state and developing the company brand name and prestige in all markets. Besides, the company always applies and enhances saving policies in all ways and aspects, especially electricity, also in reponse to the event “The Earth Hour”. Moreover, Fimexco utilizes all the company available properties & resources to run the business in the service industry such as tourism, office building for rent, warehouse rental, car rental, …in order to ensure the company business activities & operation work well and more and more sustainable, stable and developed.

The meeting has passed and elected the additional member of the board of the control is Ms Pham Thi Lynh Thy.

The congress has determined many more difficulties still occur in the year 2009, the BOD of the company hopes and calls upon all the shareholders, company leaders and staff to unite together in overcoming all difficulties to develop Fimexco in the trend of the integration of the nation.
